Shocking Moment 'Shoplifter' Fell 20ft from Building while being Pursued by Police (Photos)

Witnesses claimed he went upstairs in the building and suddenly began smashing an office window on the second floor with a chair. He then attempted to climb out of the window but caught his clothing on the jagged glass, lost his footing and fell to the pavement below. One eyewitness said: “Security or police were chasing him and he managed to get inside the shop and upstairs where he used the chair to smash the window of the shop. He started to climb out, but fell and somersaulted through the air where he landed on his back. He looked in a bad way to me.” Footage of the incident has emerged online and shows how the injured man appeared to catch his leg on the ledge before tumbling downwards. Police described his injuries as 'life-threatening' and said he continued to be in a critical condition this morning.

Nigerian Military Says Girls Rescued from Boko Haram Camp Not from Chibok

Nigerian Army spokesman Sani Usman has said that the girls rescued from Boko Haram terror camps in Sambisa Forest on Tuesday are "not the Chibok girls". Nigerian troops yesterday rescued 200 girls and 93 women in the Sambisa Forest which is a stronghold for the militant Boko Haram group and is not far from Chibok. However, one official did not rule out that captives from other Boko Haram camps that were raided might include some of the 200 girls abducted in April 2014 from a school in Chibok. In recent weeks, Nigerian troops and vigilantes moved into the Sambisa Forest. Last Wednesday the troops had to retreat because of explosive devices Boko Haram planted in the forest, according to military sources and a vigilante who was with the troops. On Monday, troops re-entered the forest and on Tuesday afternoon they raided Boko Haram camps and rescued scores of girls and women. CNN reports that Usman said: "We stumbled on the girls and may find more." The Tokumbere, Sassa and Tlafa terror camps were raided and destroyed, said a source close to the military. The Tokumbere camp is the most notorious, where the training of small children by Boko Haram is said to have occurred. Boko Haram terrorists were killed in the operation, but the military did not say how many. Military spokesman Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade said the rescued girls and women are still being screened and none has spoken to their families yet.

Femi Aribisala: 'Dear Buhari, You Cannot Fight Corruption With Corruption

by Femi Aribisala This leopard has not changed its skin. It is asking much to expect Buhari to change his habits at the ripe old age of 72. Buhari is already caught in his own anti-corruption hogwash. Anti-corruption is likely to become a Pandora’s box of unanticipated wahala for the in-coming administration. One of the myths about the 2015 presidential election is that it was a vote against corruption. Buhari and the APC did a good job of singing the anti-corruption mantra all over the country, and they gave everyone the impression that a vote for the APC was a vote against corruption. But this impression is neither supported by the character of the APC itself, nor by the manner by which it secured its famous victory. Voters in 2015 were not confronted with anti-corruption choices. There were no new breed politicians in the APC class of 2015. The overwhelming majority of those who fought and won the elections were the same old, same old. If the 15.4 million people who allegedly voted for Buhari are now supposed to be anti-corruption, then Nigeria is in trouble because 12.8 million people voted against him. That would constitute an equally big vote for corruption. The 2015 elections were attended by massive rigging by both the PDP and APC, contravening any pretensions to anti-corruption. Chukwuemeka Ujam was paraded around after being caught with 4,000 PVCs at Ozalla in Enugu State. Nevertheless, he contested for and won the post of member of the Federal House of Representatives in Nkanu East/West, Enugu. So much for anti-corruption in the elections! Physician Heal Your Self Buhari promised during the campaign to kill corruption in Nigeria. He said: “If we don’t kill corruption in Nigeria, corruption will kill us. So, the choice before us is to resolve to kill corruption and free our country from the firm grip of corrupt men and women.” Such hyperbole wins elections: but it does not solve problems. One thing is for certain: corruption will not be killed in Nigeria by Muhammadu Buhari. In no country on earth has anyone ever succeeded in killing corruption. Chances are Buhari will not even make a dent on corruption in Nigeria. The proverb says: “Physician; heal your self!” The president-elect promises to fight against corruption. However, his party cannot be described as an anti-corruption party. Integrity is not a membership requirement of the APC. On the contrary, the party does not discriminate: it welcomes saints and sinners into its ranks with equal alacrity. If Buhari were serious about fighting corruption, he would have started the fight within APC. The party made the payment of 27.5 million naira the prerequisite for contesting its presidential primaries. Buhari raised no objection to this. Instead, he claimed he was constrained to borrow the amount from his bank. Surely the president-elect must know that costly elections lead to corrupt governments. APC corruption means the president-elect has no realistic anti-corruption platform on which to perform any magic. As a matter of fact, the APC fought the 2015 election with corruption. In many places in the North, APC votes were blatantly inflated. Its party-workers encouraged widespread under-age-voting. In Lagos, APC traded money for votes. In Oniru, the fee was 1,500 naira. It did not matter if you had no PVCs. PVCs were distributed to non-registered voters at polling booths by APC faithfuls. Only God knows where they got them from. There was no reproof from our anti-corruption president-elect for these sharp practices in his own party. Neither did we hear anything from his vice-president-elect, Yemi Osinbajo; a pastor no less. Clearly, the anti-corruption panadol is only applicable to the Jonathan administration and the PDP. However, most of the so-called APC members were snatched from the allegedly corrupt PDP. While APC supporters claim Jonathan spent 2 trillion naira fighting for re-election, without bothering to explain how they got the account details of his expenditure, they fail to tell us how much APC spent dethroning the PDP. For example, how much did APC spend defending Lagos? Every 10 metres on Lagos roads had a billboard or placard of Ambode. Every local website and newspaper was conscripted to sing his praise. Ambode clearly outspent Agbaje by at least 20 to 1. What exactly was the anti-corruption source of this over-the-top expenditure? Legislative Bandits The people APC is now sending to the legislative houses at the federal and state levels are not known for integrity. They belong to the same classical group of corrupt politicians who spend a fortune getting elected in the expectation of recouping their money when in office. Any plans Buhari might have with regard to reducing the hefty salaries and emoluments of our legislators first have to go through the same legislators. This means such plans are dead in the water. It is significant, for example, that most of the chief APC contenders for the post of senate president were discovered to have outstanding cases with the EFCC. In embarrassment, President-elect Buhari is said to have indicated he would not support any of those still under EFCC indictment. While this stand seems commendable, it only serves to underscore the hypocrisies in Buhari’s anti-corruption posture. Timipre Sylva also has unresolved corruption cases with the EFCC. How come this did not disqualify him from appointment as the chairman of Buhari’s transition committee? The president-elect is still somewhat oblivious to limits of his powers under our democratic system. The senate president is chosen by senators and not at the discretion of the president. Goodluck Jonathan failed to get his candidate elected as chairman of the Governor’s Forum. With current in-fighting going on for the post of senate president among APC bigwigs, it is not unlikely for the person finally elected to turn out to be a PDP man. If APC can play this wayo while in opposition, when it secured the election of Aminu Tambuwal against the wishes of PDP central; it can also be played against it while in government. Separation of Powers In expounding his bogus anti-corruption policy, Buhari promises that those who steal public funds will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. This is all well and good, except that the judiciary is not under the presidency. The Nigerian judiciary is corrupt; nevertheless, it does not have to dance to the tune of Aso Rock. The executive can send big-fish corrupt politicians to the courts. However, nothing prevents the courts from continuing its usual practice of protecting them from arrest and declaring even rogues not-guilty. In Nigeria, justice is at the mercy of a handsome bank-account. It can be bought for the price of a good lawyer, or of the presiding judge. Even though Bode George was jailed on corruption charges, his conviction was retroactively nullified by the courts. Buhari cannot re-invent the judiciary without circumventing the separation of powers provision of the Constitution. Therefore, sooner, rather than later, Mr. President-elect would know the difference between a democratic president and a military dictator. In a democracy, a president does not determine the prerogatives of the judiciary. Hot Air Buhari also boasts his ministers will be required to declare their assets. If this is one of the cardinal principles of his anti-corruption policy, then he really needs to go back to the drawing boards. We all know his ministers will be chosen for him by APC bigwigs as paybacks for their electoral support. This hardly bodes well for anti-corruption determinants. The requirement for assets-declaration has been in the books for donkey years. It has not curbed corruption. Nobody bothers to query or confirm what is declared. Neither are public officers in the habit of declaring stolen money when they leave office. So there is nothing new or corruption-breaking about assets-declaration. As presidential candidate, General Buhari himself failed to produce a bona fide school-certificate result, as required by INEC. Anyone who thinks we are done with the issue of the president-elect’s missing Cambridge/WASC result because he has won the election and the case was dropped in court needs to think again. When the time came, Obama had to produce his birth certificate in order to kill the brouhaha of his doubted citizenship because the issue would just not go away. Buhari’s anti-corruption posture will continue to be undermined as long as he refuses to fulfil the requirement of producing his original school-certificate result. State Governments Since winning the election, the president-elect has also bolstered his anti-corruption rhetoric by declaring that the amount of pension currently given to former governors in the states is too high. That is all well and good, except that there is nothing a president can do about this except talk. Governors’ pensions are passed by state legislatures individually; meaning they are completely outside the purview of the president. To repeal the pension laws in the states would require two-thirds majority votes in each of the 36 states of the federation. The beneficiaries of the state pensions for governors are some of Buhari’s key allies, including Bola Tinubu, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Babatunde Fashola and Bukola Saraki. What this means is that the president-elect is just speaking to the gallery. He knows his lofty plans have no hope of seeing the light of day. Even if they did, they would amount to a storm in the teacup of corruption. Selective Anti-corruption Speaking to a delegation from Adamawa, president-elect Buhari said: “Imagine a situation where the former CBN governor, who by God‘s grace, is now the Emir of Kano, raised an issue of missing billions of money, not in naira but in dollars, $20 billion. What happened, instead of investigating whether it was true, they simply found a reason to remove him. So, these are the issues we are talking about.” Who precisely are the “we” still talking about this? How come Buhari ignores the forensic audit done on NNPC accounts on this matter by PriceWaterhouseCoopers, which declared conclusively that no $20 billion is missing? Does Buhari doubt the credibility of PWC; one of the most prestigious auditing firms in the world? Who then is Buhari going to hire that will be more credible than PWC? How come Buhari believes Lamido Sanusi innocence implicitly without investigation, but disbelieves the investigation of the reputable PWC about NNPC? The signal here is inauspicious. Buhari is back to his old familiar terrain of playing the ethnic and partisan card. Everyone knows Lamido Sanusi is partial to the APC. There were allegations during his stint as CBN governor that he even donated government money to Buhari during his 2011 presidential campaign. Buhari signals he would be probing the NNPC; declaring it guilty until proved innocent by his own probe. But he fails to tell us why the PWC probe is not good enough; and he fails to tell us if he would probe the sharp practices of the Emir of Kano at the Central Bank, for which he was summarily suspended. Would he also probe his new ally, Obasanjo, who was his own petroleum minister for eight years? This leopard has not changed its skin. It is asking much to expect Buhari to change his habits at the ripe old age of 72. Buhari is already caught in his own anti-corruption hogwash. Anti-corruption is likely to become a Pandora’s box of unanticipated wahala for the in-coming administration.

Nigerian man arraigned in UK court for stealing mobile phones

A 27 year old Nigerian man, Oloruntoba Adisa who worked as a bouncer in clubs in the UK has been arraigned before a UK court for stealing phones from clients who came to the club where he worked. According to Manchester Evening News, Oloruntoba has a history with the UK law enforcement officers with crimes bordering on stealing phones and money from some club goers. Few months ago, Oloruntoba was caught on CCTV stealing a Samsung S3 and £90 from a woman who had come clubbing. He hid the items in his coat and a search carried out by the club management showed he had 2 iphones stolen from other customers hidden in his coat. Some months ago, he reportedly stole a man's phone and called the man afterwards demanding for £150 in exchange for his phone. He was convicted in 2005 for stealing from his employee. Police believe Oloruntoba had sold over 300 phones on online market, Gumtree. He now works in customer services for Transport for Greater Manchester and Judge David Hernandez, sentencing, sought assurances that he would not be in contact with customer’s property. Giving him six-months jail, suspended for a year, with 40 hours unpaid work, and an order to pay £500 compensation to his latest victim, Judge Hernandez told him: “I hadn’t thought I’d be seeing you again. But here you are, standing in the dock in relation to another offence of theft of a mobile phone".

Fallout of strange illness, Ondo govt ban production & consumption of Ogogoro

The Ondo Government has banned the production and consumption of locally-made gin, commonly called `ogogoro` in the state. The state Commissioner for Health, Dr Dayo Akinyanju, announced this at a news conference in Akure on Saturday. The commissioner attributed the ban to the outbreak of an unknown disease two weeks ago in Irele Local Government Area of the state. "Our clinical analysis reveals the fact that there were no known viruses, while toxicology reports have confirmed our prime suspicion of methanol poisoning. We have reviewed our strategies and embarked on sensitisation to let people know that locally-made gin is prohibited. We will also embark on searches because this batch of methanol-containing gin must have gone round because 4 cases: 2 alive and 2 dead have been found in Odigbo Local Government Area," he said. Akinyanju said that stakeholders such as religious leaders, transporters, youths, market women, and the relevant association would be informed of the development. "We will start with the entire South Senatorial District, then move to the Central Senatorial District. According to the commissioner, the unknown disease has so far claimed 23 lives with ten other people receiving treatment. "Two of them have regained their sights and are back home. We appeal to the general public to desist from drinking the gin until we are able to identify the source of contamination or find out how the methanol got into the drinks," he said. The commissioner said that the state government was working closely with the National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control and the National Orientation Agency to sensitise members of the public to the dangers of consuming such drinks. Xenophobia: Nigerian Men are Snatching our Wives – South African Politician

South African politician, Makashule Gana, has said that some of his compatriots complained to him that they are angry with Nigerians and other immigrants because they snatched their girlfriends. Gana, a Deputy Federal Chairperson of Democratic Alliance, made this disclosure at an anti-xenophobia rally, held at Constitution Hill. South African newspaper, City Press, reports that Gana advised that rather than get angry and take the anger out on foreigners, South African men should “provide” properly for women, instead of lashing out at non-nationals for “stealing” women away. “If you can’t speak to a girl, now all of a sudden a man that comes from Zimbabwe or Nigeria that can speak to a girl now must be killed. What is that? So I ask my fellow brothers from South Africa, if you want a woman please go speak up, don’t go around and killing someone from Nigeria because they can speak up for themselves. Speak out because it is important,” he told the crowd. Gana urged the crowd at the rally to spread the message of not taking part in xenophobic attacks to “our wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, makhwaphenis (secret lovers), neighbours and brothers”. He also urged South Africans to look at themselves and not blame non-nationals for stealing their jobs when these jobs didn’t exist in the first place. “Go and start a spaza shop,” advised Gana.

Too many vitamins can give you cancer, major new study warns people who take them

Taking extra vitamins “does more harm than good” and increases the risk of cancer and heart disease, a major study has revealed. Millions of people take supplements thinking they are getting a health boost, but research has found they can have the opposite effect.

Dr Tim Byers – one of the world’s top cancer experts – examined research papers spanning 30 years.
He looked at three widely taken over-the-counter pills and supplements, vitamin E tablets, beta-carotene and folic acid, and warned against exceeding the recommended daily amount.

Dr Byers said: “We are not sure why this is happening but evidence shows that people who take more dietary supplements than needed tend to have a higher risk of developing cancer. When we first tested dietary supplements in animal models we found that the results were promising.

“Eventually we were able to move on to humans. We studied thousands of patients for 10 years who were taking dietary supplements and placebos. We found that the supplements were actually not beneficial for their health. In fact, some people actually got more cancer while on the vitamins.”

Folic acid supplements are taken by hundreds of thousands of pregnant women each year as it can help prevent spina bifida and other birth defects affecting the brain and spine.
But one study examined by Dr Byers’ team found too much increased the chances of getting cancer by 56%.
The acid – also known as vitamin – is also taken to cut the risk of heart disease and polyps in a colon, which lead to cancer.

But the research found too much in supplement form in fact increased the number of dangerous polyps.
Two trials of beta-carotene supplements found taking more than the recommended dose increased the risk of developing lung cancer and heart disease by 20%.

Meanwhile another trial of 35,000 people between 2001 and 2014 in the States found taking too many vitamin E tablets increased the risk of developing prostate cancer by 17%.

Dr Byers, associate director for prevention and control at the University of Colorado Cancer Center, US, began his study after it emerged two decades ago that people eating more fruit and vegetables were less likely to get cancer.

He wanted to see if vitamin supplements – now an estimated £385million market in the UK – would reduce the threat of the killer disease even further.

But long term studies since the 1980s have found taking too many has the opposite effect.
One trial found the chances of lung cancer increased by 18% while another showed an rise of 28%.
Dr Byers said: “We have discovered that taking extra vitamins and minerals do more harm than good.”
He added that most people got their daily recommended doses of vitamins and minerals by eating healthy meals.
He said: “This is not to say that people need to be afraid of taking vitamins and minerals. If taken at the correct dosage multivitamins can be good for you.
"But there is no substitute for good food.”

10 Facts You Didn’t Know About Sperm

•The Majority of Sperm is Abnormal

Humans aren’t great at making sperm. In fact, over 90 percent of any given expulsion is malformed. As monogamous animals our sperm does not have to be perfect since the sperm is typically not competing against another person’s sperm.

10 Facts You Didn't Know About Sperm 2

•Sperm Factory

Although there’s a large turnover of sperm, the latest studies suggest that sperm takes more than two whole months to form.

•Mister Acrosome, Tear Down This Wall!

Sperm wears a helmet that allows it to fertilize the egg. The helmet is called an acrosome. When the sperm hits the egg the acrosome releases chemicals that melt the surface of the egg so that the sperm can enter.

•One Testicle is A-OK

If someone is born without a testicle, or there is an accident, that person can still conceive. In fact, the other testicle usually grows in order to compensate. Lance Armstrong has had two naturally conceived children since he lost a testicle to cancer.

•Father-to-Son

Advertisement:

The Y chromosome is the chromosome that makes a male a male. Every other chromosome in the body is a combination of your mother’s genes and father’s genes, but the Y chromosome cannot be mixed. So a male’s Y chromosome is identical his father’s Y chromosome, and his father’s Y chromosome, and so on.

•Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop

Women are born with all the eggs they will ever have and usually in their middle age they’re done being fertile. Men, on the other hand, are always producing sperm. Of course, the quality of the sperm does degenerate a bit with age.

•Unknown Intruder

Created late in human development, or puberty, sperm cells could be attacked by the immune system because they are unknown. Luckily, there are cells that surround and protect the sperm so that they aren’t attacked.

•The Sperm is Just the Vehicle

We often think we’re a sperm/egg combination that grew. But the sperm is irrelevant. Researchers kill the sperm when creating test-tube babies and then they inject the dead sperm into the egg. The DNA inside the sperm is the only thing the egg needs.

•Stay Cool

For the sake of the fragile sperm, testicles have to stay about seven degrees cooler than the rest of the body. That’s why testicles hang outside of the body. When testicles shrink in the cool weather it’s just to get more body warmth.

•The Entire Population of Brazil

Each expulsion is only about half of a teaspoon. Not much, right? Actually, there are 200 million sperm in each expulsion and all of them are competing to fertilize the egg. That’s two-thirds of the population of the United States!

Combating Halitosis(mouth odour)

Let me start by saying WE ALL HAVE SOME DEGREE/LEVEL OF HALITOSIS OR MOUTH ODOUR OR BAD BREATH. It's like our finger print, like our unique signature, even some families have such running amongst its members, but depending on what time of the day, with or without activity, the intensity of the smell people or you perceive, can range from say a scale of 1 to 10.

So, if you had just woken up, after having slept several hours, you are sure to get something tending towards 10, while even without brushing, and you eat, it is most likely to drop to something far less than you would've recorded earlier, because you would've worked your saliva, which was STALE, since it was stagnant, while you slept.

Halitosis is a difficult subject to discuss, especially when a patient presents with such to a dentist, because there are many factors that determines how people come to know they have halitosis. The thing is, if you look for halitosis, you will find it, even when it isn't easily observable by people very close to you, while those with noticeable odour from a mile off, usually tend not to be aware of their precarious situation, and many times are wont to throw their "blessings" on others without provocation, and at will.

The causes of halitosis are a myriad, and knowing and understanding them is key to understanding how to go about solving it. Some of causes are associated with the mouth and its immediate environment, while others have to do with sites elsewhere in the body but manifesting in the mouth as unpleasant odour (infact, many systemic diseases are routinely discovered for the first time during visits to the dentist). The most challenging of the causes to treat are those that border on the psychological.

A major culprit for halitosis in an otherwise clean mouth is SALIVA. Stagnant saliva in someone that has been sleeping, or people working at activities/jobs were speaking isn't a requirement tend to keep lots of saliva in the mouth, and it takes a while after they resume speaking for the level to drop to less unpleasant levels even without doing anything besides swallowing their saliva. Such people could ensure that they drink some water in between periods of quiet (that is when they aren't sleeping), or find other ways to work their saliva, thus preventing a situation whereby their saliva is stagnant.

Chewing gum used to be an option, but even sugar-free gum which is less likely to cause dental caries (cavity/hole in tooth), can cause the teeth to wear off the first layer, exposing the second layer, which is more sensitive, thereby causing the problem of hypersensitivity (treated with a desensitizing paste for instance) while trying to solve halitosis, hence it is now widely disregarded as one of the solutions for halitosis.

Consumption of bland fruits are also an option here and may stand in the place of just food in order to WORK THE SALIVA, while you should note that the consumption of odoriferous fruits and food substances will leave behind, in the mouth, their signature odours, which contribute their own quota to increasing the persons' halitosis levels closer to the "10" extreme we have set for the purpose of this write-up.

For the early morning situation, it is advisable to brush in the morning after breakfast rather than before, and the last thing at night, if one can manage that. However, for the rest of the day, simply rinsing the mouth, after every meal should suffice, even when one intends to drink the water following a meal it is not a bad idea to rinse the mouth with the water, before sending it in!

Cleaning the mouth mustn't include just brushing, but also FLOSSING the spaces between teeth, to remove food debris stuck therein, which on decaying also contributes to halitosis, and most importantly the regular visit to the DENTIST for a SCALING & POLISHING in which areas that can't be reached by brushing or even flossing can be cleaned using the appropriate manual or automated dental instruments. The use of ANTIBACTERIAL MOUTHWASHES should not be an alternative to brushing using a FLUORIDE containing TOOTHPASTE, the physical brushing activity goes a long way in keeping the teeth clean and free of food debris, while the mouthwashes usually clear the mouth of BACTERIA, leaving the other oral flora of VIRUSES and FUNGI to roam unimpeded with the peculiar challenges that may follow from that.

Food debris, left in the mouth for long, especially those abundantly laced with sugars (processed or not), serve as nidus for oral microflora to feed on, releasing products of metabolism which are capable of breaking down tooth surfaces leading to cavities, that hold further food debris, and microorganisms that continue the degradation of tooth substance till a huge and deep hole is formed, that may lead to pain when the nerves become involved, besides its contribution to halitosis because of the debris, and consequent inability to properly brush the affected side due to pain or swelling associated with the tooth of and by the individual in question. These can be combated by the dentist who may place a filling on the tooth, or carry out a ROOT CANAL TREATMENT or an EXTRACTION, as the case may dictate, and in so doing reduce level of halitosis.

The gum may become swollen and less apposed to the teeth in reaction to certain drugs such as those used by HYPERTENSIVE individuals and EPILEPTICS. Such individuals may have to see their physicians for a modification of their drugs to something less reactive on the gum. The gum may also swell at the margins, where the gum meets the teeth because of the presence of deposits such as PLAQUE, which when CALCIUM from SALIVA is attached becomes the hardened CALCULUS, which is not easily removed by brushing, but during Scaling and Polishing by the dentists. Apart from causing halitosis, uncontrolled growth of calculus can separate the teeth from the gum and surrounding periodontal/attachment tissues, such that in very bad cases, removing long-standing calculus might even make the teeth mobile.

Outside of the mouth are a myriad of systemic diseases with oral manifestations such as halitosis. KETOSIS BREATH is associated with individuals with TYPE-1 DIABETES, where sufferers appear to many like they might have had lots to drink, when they had infact been sober. ANOREXICS may also present with halitosis because of the frequency of vomits, which also has the effect of burning the surfaces of teeth, because of the acidic content from the stomach.
Apart from the illnesses which have presentations such as these, there are also the reaction of the tissues in the mouth to the medications used for their treatment, resulting in halitosis as I have briefly mentioned above.

Habits such as consumption of certain odoriferous fruits, stimulants, food substances, as well as smoking, drinking of alcohol, even of sweet fizzy drinks with bitter aftertaste, all contribute their own quota to halitosis, and may have to be curtailed or modified if one is to fight halitosis.

When all the precautions have been taken, and regular visits to the dentist, and to the physician for the management of systemic conditions (manifesting as halitosis in the mouth) have been complied with, without let, and the situation remains, or the individual still feels that there hasn't been any improvement, even when the dentist can tell that the situation has improved considerably (as there will always be that latent signature odour you will find when you hold your palm against your mouth, to direct the air from your mouth to your nostrils, even seconds after brushing), then it has moved to something psychological, for which (s)he may now have to see a shrink for some sessions on SELF ESTEEM and SELF WORTH.

All that I have touched on, in the above, does not nearly cover the whole gamut of halitosis and related issues, but I believe it is enough to spur you on the path to working towards reducing your level of halitosis, on our adopted scale.
